Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
Wordy (the "Service") is a web-based word game. By using the Service you agree to these Terms, which form a binding contract between you and Wordy. If you do not agree to them, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Wordy, and you must meet any higher minimum age set by the law of the country in which you live. Several European Union member states set that age at 14, 15 or 16. Where a higher age applies, it applies to you in place of 13.
If you are under 18, you must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian before purchasing a Wordy Pro subscription or a token bundle.
3. Service Conduct
To protect the game and the integrity of the leaderboards, you must not:
- Use bots, scripts or automated tools to play or to collect data.
- Circumvent token limits, or exploit faults to gain tokens or play.
- Reverse engineer the Service or its word selection.
- Manipulate or disrupt the leaderboards.
4. Subscriptions & Payments
Wordy Pro is a monthly subscription. We also sell one-time token bundles. Paddle.com is our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record, and handles the whole order process.
Wordy Pro costs $4.99 per month and renews automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account record or through paddle.net. No cancellation fee applies. Access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
5. Liability Limitation
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, liability for fraud, and any other liability that the law of your country does not permit to be excluded or limited. Where consumer law grants you rights that this section would otherwise restrict, those rights prevail.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, including the conduct rules in section 3. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will state the reason and give you an opportunity to respond before acting. Any action we take will be proportionate to the breach.
If we close a paid account for breach, we will not refund the remaining period except where consumer law requires it. If we discontinue Wordy Pro or the Service, we will give notice and refund the unused portion of any amount already paid.
You may stop using Wordy at any time, and you may delete your account from your account record.
7. Governing law
These Terms, and your relationship with Wordy, are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, where we are based.
This choice does not remove any protection available to you under the consumer law of the country in which you live, and does not prevent you from bringing proceedings in that country. If you are a consumer, both remain available to you.
